Book Review of :The Hound of the Baskerville

The exciting adventures of Sherlock Homes and Dr Watson give you goose bumps. Written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, the story is based on a Baronet whose family is said to be haunted by a beastly hound. The father of the Baronet was killed by the hound while he went for a walk outside his mansion. Horrified by his father’s death, the Baronet goes to Sherlock Holmes who, he believes, can solve the mystery.

As the story progresses, the mystery gets more mysterious. Holmes sends Dr Watson with the Baronet for his protection. But, Sherlock Holmes, disguised as a common man, lived in a cave and at last found the hound and killed him with a gun. The hound was a simple dog but fed very well which made him look like a great hound. A chemical was also there which made him glow.

The writing of Doyle, as always, was fantastic and makes you to continue reading. The adventures were breath-taking. I’m sure you will love it.

The book Kidnapped is based on a boy named David Balfour of the Shaws who is an orphan. He is sent to his uncle to make his future bright. He then goes to his home and notices that no one wants to talk about him. After living with him for a few days, he takes David to a ship and asks him to work there. But actually they send him for slavery.

But fortunately, on the ship he meets a rebel against the French and teams up with him to fight the captain of the ship. Afterwards he goes on to an island (the ship gets wrecked) and gets a note from his friend in the city. When they meet again, they start to move on and on their way, meet an adventure.

Kidnapped gives a message that whatever the condition be, we should fight against I and make it favorable.

His secretary would be working in a small room with no fire. He would never get a little bit of fire even when asked. John even didn’t give him a holiday on Christmas. Still, he was very faithful to him and worked for him.

But on one Christmas his life changed completely. When he went home he met his friend’s ghost. He said that he would be visited by three ghosts for the three midnights. The three ghosts represented past, present and future. I am not telling you the scenes so that your pleasure does not get wasted.
